Happy birds

I feed Viva La Veggies to my four cockatiels every day. I add in organic human grade millet, quinoa and frozen peas and corn. They all love it. Makes me feel good to know they are eating something healthy in addition to their normal dry food of Nutraberries, Zupreem pellets and human grade organic oats. Vet is always happy with my birds and they all are in very good health.

Great quality

But.....my bird hasn't accepted it yet. I will keep trying. He will eat the corn but that's about it.

  • Supports eye, heart, and feather health
  • Boils to cook in just 15 minutes
Nutritional Benefits for your Feathered Companion:

KELP - Kelp is particularly rich in the trace element iodine and tocopherol (Vitamin E) which improves feather conditioning, molting, and helps birds that experience iodine deficiency. A great source of Magnesium, Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Potassium, 12 vitamins (including A, B1, B2, C, D and E ), 21 amino acids and over 60 minerals and trace elements HULLED MILLET - Hulled Millet is rich in phosphorus, iron, calcium, riboflavin, the nutritional value of cooked millet (90 calories). CAYENNE PEPPER - Cayenne is native to tropical America where many of our feathered friends hail from. Cayenne pepper has blood cleansing properties, that help fend off disease and equalizes blood circulation. Don’t worry, Cayenne wont “burn” birds the same way it does to us humans. Additionally, Cayenne strengthens the heart action but at the same time it does not increase blood pressure. It is known to have antibacterial properties and to prevent heart attacks and stroke. CARROTS - Carrots are rich in vitamins and a favorite among many pet birds. Containing high levels of beta-carotene, carrots support optimal eye health, which is important for birds of all species.

Vegetable Bird Food Ingredients:

All natural basmati rice, organic green split peas, organic hulled millet, organic bulgur wheat, organic pearled barley, organic couscous, non-GMO dried carrot, organic rolled oats, non-GMO almond pieces, non-GMO dried peppers, parsley, organic cayenne pepper, thyme, basil leaves, cumin, dried kelp.

Bird Food Cooking Directions (15 min):

Stovetop: In a medium saucepan, bring 2-1/4 cups (530ml) of water and 1 cup (235ml) Viva La Veggies to a boil. Cover with tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes and cool completely before serving. Note: As altitude increases and atmospheric pressure decreases, the boiling point of water decreases. To compensate for the lower boiling point of water, the cooking time must be increased.
